Christian Motorcyclists Association hands over beanies to Christway Children’s Home

Christway Children’s Home was pleased to have generously received a donation of beanies on May 29.

To keep little heads warm, Amourret van Blommestein and Gavin Mandelbaum from Christian Motorcyclists Association (CMA) Joburg South Chapter visited Christway Children’s Home on May 29.

The pair handed out at least 113 creatively crafted beanies to the Turffontein children’s home.

The beanies were beautifully knitted by a trio from Silwerkroon Home for the Aged, which included Salome Teixeira, Janet van der Merwe and Joey Lategan.

Jeanette Clack, CMA Joburg South Chapter’s secretary, said they were extremely grateful for their contribution to the project.

“CMA Joburg South Chapter has been involved with the Christway Children’s Home for many years by way of donating toys at Christmas time. We are now also supporting them with a monthly supply of groceries during this difficult economic period,” she said.
