The grill house is a fancy restaurant that was officially opened on January 28 in Klipspruit Soweto just near the Nike Sport’s Centre.
The opening of the restaurant will help alleviate the stress of unemployment in the area by giving the locals around an opportunity to work as waitresses and chefs as the restaurant grows in capacity. Locals were used for the renovation, plumbing, and painting of the place already to boost the economy.

Founder Linda Mkhize has made an appearance on the Expresso morning show on SABC 3 as one of South Africa’s exquisite chefs.
Mkhize said: “We are bringing back the five-star catering services in the hood. People can get the most excellent quality food at affordable price.”
Melissa Ncube and Sithembile Ngwenya were waitressing at the restaurant. Ncube said, “The restaurant is doing something traditional, something new.”
Zanele Jezile who works in the kitchen said: “We are bringing something vibey and new. People should try our food out because it’s awesome.”
