Four suspects allegedly broke into and stole phones, airtime some clothes at Pep near Shoprite in Naledi on November 21.
When the police arrived the suspects had already fled the scene with the goods.
A security guard was present when the incident took place and there were no injuries or fatalities reported.
According to Fezile Malesa, communication spokesperson at the Naledi Police Station, this was not the first time a robbery of this nature took place.
A similar incident occurred and the same security guard was on duty, Malesa says that may well be a starting point for investigation on this case.
Malesa says there is somebody out there who knows something because in most cases the criminals are residents of our community.
She appeals to the community to help by giving any information to the police and by not buying stolen goods.
