community urged to donate uniforms

The school holidays are over and there are children all over Diepkloof who cannot afford uniforms and stationery.

The Bontshanang Youth Club has launched the Carry-for-a-child campaign which aims to assist children who are from disadvantaged homes with uniforms and stationery.

Tshepo Sekele from the club said that they are asking assistance from the community to make the campaign a success.

“We are urging the community to help us anyway they can. The uniforms don’t have to be new but wearable,” he said.

Sekele said that they ask local business man to support the venture.
