Last chance to register

Residents, who did not register in November, have been given a chance to register on the final registration weekend in February 8 and 9 at allocated voting stations in Pimville.

According to the Electoral Commission of South Africa (IEC) website, www.elections.org.za , residents can’t register at any voting station, it must be at the correct voting station for their voting district.

The website says for residents to find the correct voting station, they should call 0800 11 8000.

The website states that residents should take their green, bar-coded ID book, smartcard ID or valid Temporary Identity Certificate to their voting station.

No other forms of ID will be accepted
