A memorial service was held on February 12 in remembrance of Lerato Spere (27) who burnt to death in a shack fire in Bramfischerville.
Spere died inside his shack after attempts to rescue him failed.
Friends and family gathered to console his grieving mother Helen Spere.
After a lot of singing and praying the residents escorted the funerary vehicle to Avalon Cemetery.
