Choir seeks members

Soweto Community Choir is a newly-established choir that is looking for a venue to rehearse and sponsorship for uniforms and other choir necessities.

“We are also looking for more members who will join us in creating beautiful music. Anyone is welcome but we will give preference to the youth,” said founder Siyabonga Dlamini.

The choir has already sent letters to schools around Orlando for a venue to rehearse and they have approached some local businesses for sponsorship with no success.

“We plan on having our first appearance on April 6 – the venue will be confirmed later,” he said.
