The Realeka Youth Development (RYD) recently hosted a week long holiday programme for its pupils.
Purpose for this event was to keep the children off the streets and to keep them busy as most of them were left alone during the school break since parents went to work.
June Taukobong said: “The parents were very delighted about this initiative because they knew that their children were kept at a safe place and looked after.”
She said they are doing this for the love of it without expecting any payment from anybody.
“We love working with children since we were also the products of Realeka during the times of the late Stella Mnikati,” said Taukobong.
