Small business shop owners in Kliptown and Pimville are warned to look after their belongings and bank the money they make.
This comes after a lot of business robberies have been reported.
“Many of the cases that have been reported are due to businesses being robbed of their hard earned cash. Owners need to be vigilant and bank the money they make daily,” said Kliptown police spokesperson, Captain Nondumiso Mpantsha.
She said some owners keep a lot of money in their shops and that makes them vulnerable to criminals taking their hard earned money.
Mpantsha urges residents to report crimes to the police.
