EFF branches aim to hit the ground running

Steve Biko Branch in Ward 22 and Robert Sobukwe in Ward 25 aim to serve the community.

“Under different wards and different councillors. Both wards want to do their best in order to serve residents in Pimville,” said Tshepo Vana, the chairperson of the Steve Biko Branch in ward 22.

He said to ensure that both branches do well each has its own branch command team, consisting of a chairperson, deputy chairperson, secretary, deputy secretary, treasurer and 10 additional members who handle their own portfolio.

Vana said the two branches operate separately in terms of governance demarcation but they assist each other organisationally and politically.
