Songstress Lulu Dikana dies after short illness
South Africa mourns the loss of soul singer, Lulu Dikana.
Lulu Dikana’s death has come as a great shock to many music lovers.
A statement released by her family through her record label said the 35-year-old soul singer and Zonke’s sister died last night after a short illness.
The Dikana family released a statement this morning following the sudden death of their daughter, which was sent out via her record label, Sony Music.
The statement said: “It is with deep sadness that we announce the unexpected and tragic loss of soul songstress Lulu Dikana who passed away last night after a short illness while being treated in hospital.
“Our deepest condolences go out to her family, friends and all her fans that came to know and love her through her music.”
