Police begin year on high note

Over a hundred vehicles and approximately 300 passengers were searched during a roadblock on Tuesday between Lufhereng and Slovoville.

The roadblock was conducted by the Dobsonville police.

Communications officer Mzwakhe Xazi said the aim is to promote safety on the roads and to ensure that people don’t travel around with dangerous weapons.
