Minister Pandor appointed as Acting President
President and Deputy President out of the country.
Science and Technology Minister Naledi Pandor has been appointed as the Acting President as of Monday while President Jacob Zuma is in Algeria on a state visit.
The Presidency said Minister Pandor will be the Acting President until today, Tuesday March 31.
While in Algeria, President Zuma will participate in the South Africa-Algeria Bi-national Commission.
Meanwhile, Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa is in Lesotho to wind down operations following his tenure as South African Development Community (SADC) Facilitator in the Kingdom. – SAnews.gov.za
