Kliptown police celebrate Father’s Day

Kliptown police celebrated Father’s Day by spreading love on the streets of Kliptown and raising awareness about crime.

The celebration took place on Friday last week before the actual Father’s Day which was on Sunday.

Police took to the streets where they distributed cards with Father’s Day messages.

They urged residents to avoid getting involved with any criminal activities.

Information on how to go about reporting criminal activities taking place in their areas was given to residents as well.

The celebration was then taken back to the police station where police who are fathers were recognised.

Station Commander Brigadier Rampota awarded them with Best Dad Certificates and blankets.
