Teenager shot dead

A 19-year-old teenager was found dead on Wildchestnut Street at Protea Glen Extension 2.

The deceased was shot and had two bullet wounds on the upper body.

It is still unknown who shot the deceased but an investigation is underway.

Police are appealing to the community to assist with any information regarding the murder.

“We are appealing to the community to assist us with information that will lead to the arrest of whoever shot the teenager,” said Vincent Mashiteng, communications officer at Protea Glen SAPS.
