The following information has been provided by police communications spokesperson Mzwakhe Xazi.
Last week Thursday Two men aged 34 and 35 were arrested for drug possession in Zola North after police followed a tip off.
The National Crime Unit, Gauteng Intelligence, Gauteng Traffic Police and the JMPD special unit followed up on the tip off and successfully made two arrests from two separate houses in Zola.
Police entered the first house in Zola North Cele Street and upon searching it, police found bags of Mandrax, Cat, Crystal Meth, Ecstasy.
After searching that house, the police then went to a second house and found another man in the possession of Mandrax in Zola North, this time in Mathimi Street.
Xazi says the police gained such information from a tip off and would like to thank the community for providing information that lead to these arrests.
The police would like to encourage the community top continue providing police with information.
