Bees cause a stir at a Klipspruit depot
Two admitted at Jabulani Hospital after being stung by bees
Two people were rushed to Jabulani Hospital after being stung by a swarm of bees earlier this week.
This incident happened at a depot in Klipspruit when four employees were busy cutting grass.
ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring said when they arrived at the scene they found that a 57-year-old man and a 45-year-old woman had taken refuge in the reception area.
Both victims had sustained numerous stings.
“Both patients were treated on the scene before being transported to Jabulani Hospital for further treatment,” said Meiring.
It is believed that the men disturbed the beehive while they were cutting grass.
