Sedibathuto Primary receives new classroom

Sedibathuto’s Grade R pupils will now use a bigger class for their activities

Sedibathuto Primary School had a grand launch of the class built by Belinda Watts and Associates.

The class was built by a project called bottle to build in which recycled plastic bottles are used.

The class will be utilised for Pre-Grade R pupils in the school to ensure that early childhood development is enhanced and they get to be school ready, and children get used to the school environment and don’t cry or mess themselves during their first days at school as they will already being used to the environment.

The Grade-R teacher, Nthabi Selekane said she is happy to be teaching her children in the classroom.

“At first I had a small class with many children and we could not move around.

“This new classroom is big enough and we can do our activities inside.

“The room is warm as well,” said Selekane.

The building was donated by Belinda Watt and Associates which deals with charity work.
