#RIPKarabo: Body of woman (22) found burnt in a veld
#RIPKarabo - "He killed and burned my daughter"
This just in – CityBuzz has reported the death of Karabo Mokoena who has been missing since April 28.
According to Provincial Police Spokesperson, Captain Mavela Masondo, the family of Karabo opened a missing persons case at the Diepkloof Police Station on April 28.
Mokoena’s body was found on April 22 in Lyndhurst.
“Upon the registering of the case, police commenced a thorough investigation. At the time, we heard of a burnt body which was discovered at an open field.
“We suspect that this may be Karabo’s body but cannot clearly confirm because we are waiting for the DNA results.
“Again, upon investigation and having linked the case to other cases – we ended up arresting a 27-year-old man in Sandton.”
