Flaunt it on the catwalk

Willie Mogemi is back again to make his mark in the modelling and fashion industry

Willie Mogemi is back again to make his mark in the modelling and fashion industry with young people from Soweto and Gauteng.

He has recently hosted a hosted a modelling event in town where models were showcasing work done by fashion designers.

As a follow-up to this, Mogale has been hard at work tying in fashion designers to the movement and providing a platform for designers to showcase their talent.

Silindile Langane.

“I have realised that there are a number of opportunities in modelling but it is sad that many girls from Soweto are unable to make use of these opportunities and the people who are deserving of these opportunities are in Soweto in our Kasi, but they don’t know about it.

“So I would like to invite girls who are passionate about modelling to join WM Models and make use of the opportunities the organisation has access to,” said Mogemi.

Other than promoting models and designers clothing brands, Mogemi also has his own clothing brand he has been working on.

Benard Eagle and Silindile Lengane.

“Our company sometimes gets opportunities to do promotions and featured in videos, and we make use of our models for those kinds of gigs.

“We also promote the organisation and the clothing brand using our models, so in a sense, we are promoting their faces to the public as models and we are advertising our clothing as well,” he said.

To make their presence felt in the community, the organisation is planning to host an event which will take place in Newtown Red Apple Club on September 30.

If you are interested in buying their clothing brand or if you would like to be a model or performer for WM models, please call Willie on 084 644 4142.
