Mother’s Day Special: Westsider’s honour the first lady of their lives
Westsiders pour out their hearts and honour the women that gave them life.

Brenda and Sagithi Msiza
Words cannot even begin to describe what my loving mother means to me. She is my pillar of strength, motivator, guardian, and most of all my biggest inspiration. If I could be half the person that she is, then I would consider myself to be truly blessed and successful. The love I have for her is immeasurable and I would like to wish her a Happy Mother’s Day! ♥

Sherley and Shannen van Wyk:
My mom means everything, everything to me. Without her the outcome of my life would definitely turn out for the worse because she played one of the major roles in who I am today. I thank God for her life everyday because I realise that even at adulthood we still need our mothers I thank God I still have mine I really am honoured and blessed to call her my mother. ❤

Felicia and Ashley Jacobs:
Where does one even begin to explain what their mom means to them? With a mom like mine it’s particularly difficult.
My relationship with my mom cannot be described by words.
Her love for me and vice verse is not just a verb. Our love is a doing word.
My mommy is not only the ONLY person who understands a complex individual such as myself, she is my chef, sister, protector, counsellor, best friend and most important, my prayer warrior.
My mother gets my type of crazy and I love her to bits for that. No amount of words could ever describe my love for her but I I will live everyday of my life showing her how much I appreciate her until the day we no longer walk this earth.

Naydene Wade and Monica Samson:
To my queen… The woman I truly love. Mommy I just wanna let you know I appreciate you a lot, thank you for being the best mother you are to me. I couldn’t have asked for a better mom like you. You my world and I’m proud to be your daughter I love you mamzo
