A stunning endorsement for Future Stars
'Talent alone is not enough to secure anyone a professional footballing contract.'

After a hard-fought victory over AmaTuks development, the COPA Coca-Cola Future Stars camp was less intense in the third day of their training camp.
The training, conducted by soccer legends, Simba Marumo, Jabulani Mendu and Selekedi Mogale handed over the reins to Guinness World Record holder, Khris Njokwane to share his experience with the squad in the morning session.
The popular freestyler, who made world headlines earlier this year for controlling a ball that dropped from 37.4 meters before making a minimum of four touches, also shared the importance of working hard with the boys.

He said talent alone was not enough to secure anyone a professional contract. Njokwane said this could only be made possible through daily hard work and continued improvement as a player in order to be able to compete at the highest level.
Following Njokwane’s session, Supersport United midfielder, Reneilwe Letsholonyane took over with a session on passing. The ever-green Letsholonyane who hails from White City township, was demonstrating passing and the importance of the ball movements in game situations.
He said they spent some time on correct techniques to use when passing and what to do as a player once you have passed the ball to your teammate. This included various types of movements and how best to support your team. He thanked the organisers for putting together the initiative which has brought together talent from different parts of the country.
The COPA Coca-Cola Future Stars will take on Kaizer Chiefs with the aim of possibly being scouted into the Amakhosi youth development structures.
