The Eff promised to deal with each matter separately because people had different problems.
We learn from our elders and it is important that they’re looked after with great care and are supported at all cost. Greatly so, we should cherish their contribution and existence. But just like any other person they face challenges of their own too.
When someone is regarded as an elder it simply means they are in a stage where they need their own kids and grandchildren to look after them not abuse them. More than a thousand elderly people were gathered at Uncle Toms Hall in Orlando West to voice out their problem to the leaders of the Economic Freedom Fighters.
Elders complained about the grant money not being enough Peggy Mavimbela from Ward 38 complained about grant money not being enough because elderly people look after their grandchildren and requested that maybe if the government could double their December payment.
She requested that the leadership should make time and visit different branches so that they can get to see how things are functioning.
Mavimbela further alluded that the PR Councillor is not performing his duties in his Ward. Thokozile Kunene complained about Bheki Mlangeni Hospital and requested that the leadership must intervene.
