At least 20 homes in the Mzimhlophe informal settlement of Orlando raised to the ground following a shack fire
No one was injured.
ER24 paramedics were on the scene of a shack fire in the Mzimhlophe informal settlement of Orlando, with the City of Johannesburg Emergency Services early this morning.
Approximately 20 homes were raised to the ground. It is believed the fire started at around 5 am and took some time to extinguish.
The residents fortunately escaped without injury.
