Carling Black Label Cup tickets officially sold out

Pulsating Soweto derby on the cards.

The much anticipated, Carling Black Label Cup will kick-off on Saturday and fans are expected to witness a great deal of a thrilling affair as the Soweto giants, Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates will be battling each other in this competition.

This tournament will take place at the imposing FNB Stadium. Tickets for this soccer extravaganza are officially sold out.

Since this tournament’s inception seven years ago, the support from football fans has distinguished the extraordinary derby from others as it gives the fans the power to influence the starting line-up.

This year, the fan’s experience has been further amplified as fans select their preferred game-changers. Carling Black Label Brand Director, Grant Pereira said they are thrilled at the overpowering show of backing from the supporters of the tournament.

He said this marks a major moment in the history of local football and it proves that the fans are hungry for their chance to impact the beautiful game.

Last year, the tournament did not take place and despite that, fans still prove that they did not lose its momentum as the fans are waiting in vain for this battle between the two giants.

This year’s cup will be an all-round entertainment hub with special performances by various artists including, Sho Madjozi, Dr Malinga and Gqom Princess.

To add cherry on top, Carling Black Label will also host a beer garden on match day with some prize giveaways.

The first 5 000 spectators to enter the stadium precinct will get a free beer voucher.

Gates will open at 11am on match day to give everyone an opportunity to enjoy the entertainment on and off the pitch before the official kick-off.

The game is set to start at 15pm. Amakhosi will be looking forward to win the trophy for the third time in a row while the Mighty Buccaneers will be hoping to put a stop to Chiefs.
