Dube residents were shocked when they discovered a newborn baby dumped.

On Wednesday Orlando Police Station officers received a tipoff at night of a newborn baby that was found dumped in Dube at the bridge.

The baby was found by a community member.

Community members were called and some community member contacted Orlando Police officers to attend the scene.

Captain Nomvula Mbense said that a case of concealment birth has been opened and the investigations are still underway. “We urge the community to report if they see someone who was pregnant without a baby and they should be considered.”
