D12 honoured teachers and learners at Hoerskool in Roodeport
The occasion was graced by District Officials, managers, school principals, teachers, learners and parents as they came to witness the hard work they have produced.
The Johannesburg West D12 held an award ceremony at Hoerskool Florida in Roodeport, where they were honouring and celebrating the hard work and dedication that the class of 2019 has put in.
The ceremony was not only for the learners but also to encourage teachers to keep on working hard in subjects that they are teaching in schools.
The occasion was graced by District Officials, managers, school principals, teachers, learners and parents as they came to witness the hard work they have produced.

Vusi Hendricks was awarded for being the top township students also presented with the Nduna Marobela memorial award, Khensani Selai was presented with the Maponya 911 award, also top learners in Tshivenda languages.
Muntu Makhanya was awarded for obtaining position one nationally for being the student’s History subject advisor, Top Economics achiever was presented to Tania Mohlo from Emadwaleni Secondary School. District officials were excited to see that also in the township learners are eager to improve and study hard.
Each subject had top achievers and Vusi Hendricks received a standing ovation because he did well in his studies.

Thato Ramothwala received an award for being the Top achiever in Sesotho languages, Dineo Tsatsi awarded Top achiever in Setswana Languages and Siyabusa Secondary School was awarded for being the Top township school.
St Martin De Porres Combined School was handed out with an excellence school award Forte Secondary School was given for being the most improved school.
Johannesburg West D12 gave learners and teachers certificates and trophies for working hard in every subject, some improved their marks from previous years which they were awarded for putting in more effort and being so dedicated to their respective subjects.
The Johannesburg West D12 thanked their sponsors for always being supportive towards them also NPO’s organisations that are assisting learners in subjects that they are struggling in.
