Protea Glen parent worried about his son state of mind

A father's cry for Help.

Nhlanhla Daniel Hlongwa from Protea Glen Extension 4 is asking for assistance to get his son admitted into a mental institution. This comes after his son suffered from drug addiction together with his brother who is currently in prison for theft.

Hlongwa explained that both his sons began smoking Nyaope and other drugs back in 2012 when they were in matric and later the two dropped out of college when the addiction became worse.

“They started selling things in the house to the extent that they removed a sliding door and sold it just to get a fix,” said Hlongwa.

Hlongwa adds that his sons went to rehab but upon their return, Hlongwa alleges that one of his sons started losing his mind and started vandalising his room as well as the house.

“I took him to several facilities where they kept him for three weeks and then discharge him. I even took him to Mpumalanga but his situation keeps on getting worse.

“My son is no longer on drugs but breaks everything in the house such as furniture, window, doors, pipes, toilets, and everything he touches. He breaks the sealing and sits on top the whole day for no reason,” he said.

He pleaded with relevant people to help him get his son to be admitted to one of the mental facilities so that he can be evaluated and get proper treatment. Hlongwa explained that he was in and out of the hospital, but his situation goes back.

The troubled father said Mthokozisi has vandalised the house that he, his mother, and little brother reside at to the extent that they now stay at the back rooms that he has not yet vandalised and the house looks like an old abundant house.

“Can someone please help me I am begging, I need help, please help me get my son admitted in a mental institution for evaluation,” concluded Hlongwa.
