Eldorado Park SAPS attended to a scene of Business Robbery at Pep Cell, Sirkel road

On Monday 05 April 2021 at approximately 08:34 which occurred at Pep Cell Sirkel Road, Extension 5 Eldorado Park.
It is alleged by the complainant that she and her colleague opened the store to enter and report for duty when she noticed two(2)males standing at the main door. According to the complainant, one of the two males was wearing Police uniform and the other was dressed in civilian clothing.
The complainant furthermore alleged that the male in the civilian clothing took out a Police docket, showed it to her and asked her to open in order for them to enter. The suspect also informed her that it was in connection with her vehicle that had been used in the commission of crime. When the complainant denied any involvement of her vehicle, the suspect told her that it could be a duplicate registration number that had been used.
The male who was at the till instructed the complainant to go into her office, as this wasn’t Police business ,but a robbery. The suspects demanded the cellphones of the victims, took out their sim cards, cuffed her colleague and took him to another office.
The suspect in Police uniform then took out a bag and started to pack the cellphones which were in the safe as well as earphones, into the bag. The value of the robbed items is estimated to be approximately fifty thousand rand(50 000.00).
