The speakers took the learners through their different life journeys and how the difficult journeys prepared them to strive to be where they are today. The founder of ZA Powerhouse Zanele Phakathi took the audience through her journey of almost giving in and giving up as a model. She said, “I was involved in an accident which left me with many scars that made me believe that my life as a model was over, I lost so much confidence in myself, I one day had to do a photoshoot with a bald head, it was my first time with no hair. Little did I know that my repositioning was meant for greater heights.’’ The school’s president gave her vote of thanks on behalf of the school, “as a least performing school we are very honored to have been visited by people of great influence, we believe that all that the speakers have said challenged each and everevery oneus to do better, and for that we are grateful,” she said. Different institutions presented themselves to offer career guidance after the event and the learners were presented with the prospectus.
