Protea Glen’s Rendani Khomola was born with a special talent

She was born a gymnast but is struggling to flourish due lack of facilities for gymnastics around Soweto.

The 8-year-old Rendani Khomola can bend like rubber, at first, her mother Nhlanhla Khomola said she thought she did not have bones or her bones were somewhat soft, we don’t blame her, what Rendani can do with her body is unbelievable!

“I started realising her gymnastics movements when she was just 4 years old, she would unusually cross legs whenever she would sit down, and I would ask myself questions like, could it be that my daughter is not normal?” Khomola says.

“I sometimes think that she doesn’t have bones, I would get so scared whenever she starts playing around with her legs, folding them or lifting them above her head, I would think that she will break her bones but as time went by, I realised that she is a special kind of a child with a special talent that needs to be groomed,” Khomola added.
