The young vocalist was raised by both his parents with love and support, while he also received support from his family, church members and his pastor at Fountain of Miracles Ministries concerning his singing talent, which is rather perceived a gift.

Masete ventured into his music career in 2017 when he joined a musical group called Tacit Music Experiments. During his time in the group, he learned more about music and was exposed to music concerts.

He shared stage with the likes of Sefako Mams, Collen Maluleke, Mampai Ndlovu, Prince Monyai, and Thobile Mnguni under Tacit.

He carried on solo with the recording of his debut album, A Life Full of Testimonies in February 2020, by 4040 Entertainments. This was made possible by Dobby Mokoena and Gospel Silinda (known from Joyous Celebration).

He then released his first single Ke Bone Mogau which is part of the album. His desire is to preach the Gospel of Christ to the world through his heart-warming and healing music.

Growing up, Masete was known to be a very talented child, he learned to play the piano at the age of 12, and showcased his talents as a church musician. He was a reluctant singer, to say the least. However, in high school he began to break out of his shell eventually sharing his talents with the public rather than singing alone in his home.

He attended Seagotle Secondary School and then moved on to Ramatau Senior Secondary School, where not only did he become known for his musical talents, but also learned how to write and compose music.

Those skills would prove to be significant as he joined the Tshwane University of Technology’s Student Christian Organization where he became well known for his talents.

Masete along with his fellow students formed a student committee under Pentecostal Protestant Church (PPC) which has been impactful in the community.

The committee organised talent shows and worship nights which helped many young and elderly people in Soshanguve. Ditheto was the leader of that organisation and he was proactive in his position.
