“It’s more about giving back and digital devide is a huge problem and we have seen under privileged communities taking a strain.

“I want to be able to give children access to things they wouldn’t ordinarily have had,” said Megan Nicholas, Managing Director of Supersonic.

It is significant to introduce children in multiple possible ways of making their lives easier. However, internet or rather access to the new digital age can make or destroy children since they tend to wonder and explore different sites of disseminating information.

In order to prevent children from visiting age restricted sites, Nicholas asserts that, “We have software that we have put in place for their connectivity that will cut all sites that they are not allowed to go to.

“This will block every site they will try to wonder to, willingly and unwillingly.”

Supersonic believes and has committed itself to leading South Africa to a digital economy that will enable people of today and future generations to be on par with the rest of the world by embracing the digital revolution.
