Forbes Women’s Summit to usher in International Women’s day
Dr. Pandor will be joined by an illustrious speaker line-up boasting of several high-profile speakers who will grace the stage on the day.
Forbes Woman Africa is gearing for its biggest annual Leading Women Summit where more than 50 speakers will share their ground-breaking insights, expertise and stories of grit on how they attained success.

The event set to take place on International Women’s Day, 8 March will convene under the theme, Women 3.0:
The Icons and Ideas Shaping Africa to celebrate and commemorate the resilience of women across the world.
The 8th Summit will bring together the who’s who of female leadership on the continent from the world of business, politics, arts, sports and civil society.
Forbes Woman Africa announced that the SA minister of International Relations and Cooperation Dr. Naledi Pandor, will deliver the opening address.

“We are delighted to announce that Dr. Naledi Pandor, South Africa’s Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, will open this year’s conference.
“With a strong background in science and technology and as a formidable powerhouse in government, she will set the tone for what promises to be a powerful summit,” commented Renuka Methil, Managing Editor, FORBES AFRICA.
“She will be joined by other dynamic personalities, among them state leaders, representatives from the United Nations, and other influential members of the business, financial, health, fashion, and non-profit sectors.”
The one-day event which will see over 1000 attendees, represented by 50 nations will mark as the first in-person summit following two-years of the event being held as a virtual summit due to the pandemic.

Daniel Padiachy, Executive of Supply Chain, Marketing and Technology at McDonald’s South Africa, who are the event’s presenting partner said they were ecstatic to partner with Forbes Africa to bring the vision of the summit.

The former President of Liberia Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, Social media sensation Elsa Majimbo, feminist and Tunisian diplomat Aya Chebbi and prominent South African singer-songwriter Nomcebo Zikode are some of the listed names announced to make appearances during the women summit.
