Body discovered in Dobsonville near Elias Motsoaledi

Police in Dobsonville are investigating a case of murder of an unknown African male found with multiple stab wounds on his body near the CTM Elias Motsoaledi road open space on Monday morning last week.

According to the SAPS, a passer-by alerted the police that there was a motionless body at the open space. On arrival, police activated all role players and the EMS certified the victim dead, the LCRC took photos, before the body was taken to the mortuary.
“The motive is unknown at this point. Suspects are still at large, and we are appealing to the public that those who might have witnessed the incident come forward and assist the police with the investigation,” Dobsonville police spokesperson, Constable Vusi Thokwan said.
Thokwan added that the police were still looking to identify the body and confirmed that the unknown male was estimated to be between the ages of 25 -30.
