Discover Inner Peace: Meditation for Beginners

In the busyness of everyday life, it is easy to become consumed by noise, stress, and constant demands. For many, the mind rarely rests, and the heart longs for stillness. To meet this need, the Brahma Kumaris Soweto Centre is offering a special program, “Meditation for Beginners,” designed to help individuals experience peace, inner strength, and wisdom through what they call Yoga for the Mind.

This course introduces a simple yet profound practice of meditation that can be done by anyone, anytime, and anywhere—at home, at work, or even
outdoors. The sessions will empower participants with the ability to choose thoughts that are uplifting and positive, rather than those that are negative or draining. By adopting this positive approach, one can discover a deep sense of inner calm and clarity, even when facing life’s challenges and complexities.

Over the course of five sessions, participants will learn how to:

Meditate anytime, anywhere
Experience the beauty of their true self
Understand the nature of consciousness
Connect with the Divine

For more information or to reserve your place, contact the Soweto Centre via WhatsApp: 083 742 8701 or 067 733 4786, or email soweto@za.brahmakumaris.org

The program is ideal for those who have never meditated before, as well as anyone wishing to refresh or deepen
their practice. Each session provides both guidance and practical experience, making meditation accessible and
relevant to daily life. Two opportunities are available for the
community to attend:

Saturdays from 6th September 2025 at 3:00 pm & Thursdays from 11th September 2025 at 10:00 am

Both series will be hosted at 13/1042 Noko Street, Diepkloof Extension Phase 3, Diepmeadow.

The Brahma Kumaris is a global spiritual movement known for its focus on personal transformation and service to
humanity. In South Africa, the organisation has been active for decades, offering courses, workshops, and retreats
that support individuals in cultivating peace, resilience, and spiritual awareness. True to its ethos of
