The police are investigating an armed robbery on Sofasonke Street in Orlando East.
According to the Orlando SAPS, a male victim walking alone had a VW Polo pull up beside him.

The suspects tried to engage him. As the victim moved closer to hear what one of the men was saying through the car window, the suspect produced a firearm.
“The gunman demanded the victim’s laptop bag. The victim complied, and the suspects fled with the bag. Fortunately, no laptop was inside, only an adapter and other accessories,” said Orlando SAPS spokesperson Nomvula Mbense.
A case has been opened at the Orlando SAPS. A manhunt is underway to track the criminals.
