Dobsonville anti-hijack unit arrested two suspects in GlenRidge that were found tempering with a Telkom tower on Tuesday, April 09.

The police received intelligent information that there were unknown African males tempering with the battery tower.
“They immediately moved tactically and surrounded the scene of crime. Both suspects were found in the act of committing the crime,” said Dobsonville police Spokesperson, Vusi Thokwan in a statment.
The suspects were safely brought to police custody and detained at Protea SAPS. The vehicle found in their position was booked at Lenasia for further investigation.

Dobsonville acting station commander Colonel Lengau gave thanks to the commitment shown by members to swiftly react to the information given.
