Planned power cut in Lenasia South
Customers are advised to arrange alternatives before temporary power disruptions due to maintenance.
City Power (CP) has announced a planned power outage scheduled for July 17 to carry out essential maintenance work at the Lenasia Substation.
The power cut will take place between 08:00 and 16:00 and will affect:
* Lenasia South Ext 1, 2, 3 and 24
* Section of Lenasia South Ext 4
* The Civic Centre
* The local clinic
According to CP, the maintenance forms part of their ongoing efforts to enhance the reliability and quality of the electricity supply to residents.

Residents are urged to treat all electric sockets as live during the power disruption.
“Residents are also reminded that supply may be restored at any time during the day.”
