iKhokha celebrated the launch of its first Soweto store with an event that kicked off with a high energy performance by the Guap Gang dancers on July 26.

The event hosted a mix of iKhokha local merchants, entrepreneurs and community leaders who gathered to share their experiences and challenges.

iKhokha co-founder Ramsay Daly led an insightful panel discussion, which included Soweto representatives Gugu Mnguni, the Usave Building Centre Manager and Thato Monareng, a spaza shop owner.

Each panellist shared their unique entrepreneurial story, highlighting the passion and determination that fuelled their ventures. The discussion also delved into entrepreneurial challenges, addressing access to capital, marketing and operational hurdles.

The spotlight shone on iKhokha’s role in driving the success of local businesses as the speakers shared stories of increased sales, improved cash flow, and enhanced customer experiences since partnering with the brand.

With this new store, iKhokha will empower Soweto’s business owners with affordable tools and on-the-ground support to help them unlock their full potential and succeed.
