Children in Eldos reminded of their rights on Human Rights Day

PUSH community centre in Eldorado Park celebrated Human Right’s Day to honour those who fought for Freedom and remember the Sharpeville massacre.

They wanted to make children aware of their rights as well as their responsibilities.

Make them aware that the day aims to promote and protect human rights for all individuals regardless of their race, religion, nationality, or any other status.

They highlighted that the importance of celebrating this day in South Africa is to educate the public about all issues of concern, mobilise political will, address global problems and celebrate and reinforce achievements of humility.
