Somo Noko, the co-ordinator of the event, shared her experience with reading and said if there is anything that she could change it is that she wants to read more.

“Your vocabulary is exceptional. It also shows that you read and I am not scared to admit that you guys speak better English than I do,” said Noko.

Grade 10 learner Bulelwa Mbokoma said she has learnt that reading is very important to understand a lot of things.

“Personally, reading was not something I enjoyed doing. However, whenever I read it sparked my reading for understanding,” said Mbokoma.
