Eldos Taxi Association showers seniors with love and care

Over 250 senior citizens from Elodorado Park, Naturena and Freedom Park enjoyed complimentary trip to Joburg Zoo.

As October drew to a close, the Johannesburg Southern Suburbs Taxi Association (JSSTA) members from Eldos Tax Rank continued their Transport and Senior Citizens’ Month celebrations in style.

Following their successful first trip on October 17, which catered to 120 senior citizens, the Eldos Taxi Rank transported 250 senior citizens to Joburg Zoo on October 23.

The association provided complimentary transportation from various locations, including Naturena, Freedom Park, and the JSSTA Taxi Office in Eldos, ensuring senior citizens from across the area could participate.

Making memories as JSSTA treats 250 senior citizens to an unforgettable day at the zoo.

Rosalina Nkosi, one beneficiary, expressed her gratitude to the association.

“It is not every day that seniors get things for free,” she said.

“We are delighted as elderly citizens within the zoning of Eldos Taxi Association.”

The JSSTA’s initiative demonstrates their commitment to giving back to the community and recognising the value of senior citizens.

The association brought joy and excitement to those who often struggle to access such opportunities.

“I am so grateful for this opportunity. It has been years since I’ve been to the zoo,” said one senior citizen.
Another added, “This is a wonderful gesture from JSSTA. We feel seen and appreciated.”
