Local football club rebrands after 10 years

In pictures: Local soccer club, The Boys FC, celebrates 10 years with a major rebranding, unveiling a new name, Da Boys FC.

The Boys FC management revealed the new name and logo to the Eldorado Local Football Association (ELFA) and its supporters, including parents and residents, during the 10 year milestone celebration at JD Opperman Hall in Ext 2, Eldorado Park, on March 1.

The new branding was revealed with the name of the club changing from The Boys FC to Da Boys FC.

Having successfully grown the team in the past decade, senior coach Francois Kemp said their future plans will further stabilise the club.

Kylah Louw, Leshaan Riberts, Casseylee Erasmus and Leeandre Swartz from the U17 division.

“Da Boys FC stands as a proud representative of Eldorado Park, continuously expanding and evolving.

“With growing divisions, strong leadership and a commitment to excellence, the club is poised for even greater achievements.”

Girls U10 receive medals and certificates.

He said the the focus remains on developing talent, strengthening community ties and upholding the club’s core values to ensure a bright future for players.
