Power has been restored to affected areas in Soweto

Power supply has been restored to communities in Eldorado Park Ext Two, Four, Six, Eight and 10, Klipspruit West, Kliptown Eext CBD, JOSCHO Flats, Kliptown Ext Two, Four, Five, Six, Seven, Eight and 10, and Devland Industrial.

The power outage was caused by a tripping switch at Orlando Switching Station around 06:42.

“We thank customers for their patience and again apologise for the inconvenience caused,” said CP spokesperson Isaac Mangena.
