Foundations launch festive campaign in Klipspruit to support child-headed homes
The Nhlanhla Tshabalala Foundation, Mandoza Foundation and Nkalakhata Festival united in Klipspruit to collect donations and assemble Christmas hampers for five child-headed homes this festive season.
The Nhlanhla Tshabalala Foundation (NTF), in collaboration with the Mandoza Foundation (MF) and the Nkalakhata Festival (NF), hosted a community activation at Café Hangover in Klipspruit on December 6.
The activation forms part of a joint festive season campaign aimed at supporting five child-headed homes in the area.
The initiative brought local residents together in a strong display of unity and compassion.

“This collaboration is aimed at proving that when we come together, lives can change for the better. We hope to be the bridge in fighting food insecurity and ensuring that no child is left behind this festive season,” said Nhlanhla Tshabalala, founder of NTF.
The organisations are continuing to collect donations from the public until December 19 to compile Christmas hampers for the identified families.

The trio is urging the community, local businesses and supporters to keep contributing toward the cause.
The organisers added that every contribution brings them closer to giving these young people a warm and dignified Christmas.
