Palm Sunday march in Corie

Christians around the globe celebrate Palm Sunday, today.

Churches around Westbury, Coronationville  marched through the streets of Coronationville in remembrance of the march that Jesus did through the streets of Jerusalem on a donkey with people waiting for him waving palms.

Six different churches joined in the march holding palm leaves as they celebrate what Jesus has done for each and everyone.

Wesley Saunderson, Ecumenical forum chairperson says: “There are over 600 people that come out today.
“With the Roman Catholic Church  joining the Methodist Church.”

He said this is one of the oldest march held annually through the streets of Coronationville.
