According to Springs police spokesman Captain Johannes Ramphora, a women driving a silver Ford Figo went to visit her boyfriend in Steynsberg Street at 2:45pm.
The victim went outside at 7:15pm to leave when she noticed three men approaching her. One of the men was armed.
“She started screaming for help, but they assaulted her and one of the men got into the passenger side of the vehicle,” says Capt Ramphora.
The other two hijackers jumped into the car and fled the scene.
No shots were fired and no arrests have been made.
