Draft open for public review
The Draft Scoping Report (DSR) as part of the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) for the proposed Eastside Junction Mixed Use Development near Delmas is now available for public review.
The proposed development will include a hotel, theme park, casino and amusement park.
The DSR for this development is available for public review and comment until September 2 at the following venues:
– Delmas Public Library, corner of Third Street and Van Riebeeck Avenue, Delmas from 8am to 5pm during weekdays and 8:30am to 12:30pm on Saturdays. Contact Lydia Mehlape on 013 665 2425.

Should interested and affected parties and stakeholders wish to submit comments on the DSR, they are urged to ensure these written submissions reach Thomas on or before September 2.
