Dunnottar community carnival

The Dunnottar SAPS Community Carnival is running for the second year and will take place on September 7 from 8am to 5pm.

There will be food and craft stalls, a beer tent, and potjiekos competition.

There will be a modelling competition open to various age groups, from which Miss Dunnottar will be chosen.

The boys will also have the chance to strut their stuff as Mr Ysterman will be established for boys younger than seven.

The Sting Bike Club will be present and the SA Strongman team.

Kids Corner will provide plenty of activities such as a ghost house, swings, jumping castles, house of mirrors and go karts.

Part of the funds will go towards Luhan Groenewald from Springs, who, after an accident in April 2012, is wheelchair-bound and needs 24-hour medical attention.
